They give a shout-out to The Deb Jam Band with Debbie Jamison and recount a hilarious moment when Derrick was called up to the stage while he was in the bathroom. Plus, Derrick shares his experience catching the band Seeing Red at Lafayette's.
In the main portion of the show, Derrick and Jeff engage in a lively discussion with musician and featured guest Carlos Ecos. They explore Carlos's musical background, including his early days in Gainesville, Florida, his influential time in Memphis, and his experiences in the Austin music scene. Carlos recounts his days with the band Gun Down Mary, and his mentors.
